Overview
This article contains common questions and troubleshooting tips associated with the Platform One Learn to Win login flow. For instructions on how to create a Platform One account, please see the "Platform One Onboarding" article.
When I go to Learn to Win, the page doesn't load and shows a "This site can't be reached" error screen
If you are accessing Learn to Win outside of NIPR (ie, a commercial, home, or cellular data source) you must install the DoD-approved VPN called Appgate. Appgate needs to be setup on every non-NIPR device accessed. When a session expires, you will need to reauthenticate, or else you will see the same error message.

I clicked on the login URLs, but I don't have a Platform One account. How do I gain access to Learn to Win?
To gain access to Learn to Win, all instructors and learners need to create a Platform One Single Sign On account. Platform One (P1) is similar to the Apple App Store - they host our application's code and data, verify security protocols, and provide login authentication. Platform One applications are approved by the Department of Defense and can be accessed from a military computer, personal computer, or personal mobile device.
I submitted my registration for a Platform One account, but I haven't received the authentication email.
Sometimes the email takes 3-5 minutes to arrive, and you should also check your spam folder. There is a chance you mistyped your email address in the registration process. To check which email you used, go to login.dso.mil. If your email is incorrect, you can edit your email and have the authentication resent.
If your email address is correct and after 5 minutes you have not received an email, please reach out to the Platform One support team at: help@dsop.io
I forgot my Platform One password. What should I do?
Click the "Forgot Password" button on the bottom right of the login screen to reset your password.
I created a Platform One account, but when I click the login link, I get a screen that says "Your account has not been granted access to this application group yet"
If you are seeing this screen, most likely you did not link your CAC correctly or your CAC is expired. For support linking your CAC, contact Platform One support: help@dsop.io
I'm on the learntowin.com website, and my Platform One username and password aren't working.
As a military user of Learn to Win, you will login through the Platform One specific links, not through the main page:
- Admin/instructor: https://learn-to-win.il4.afwerx.dso.mil/instructor-web-app/
- User/learner: https://learn-to-win.il4.afwerx.dso.mil/student-web-app/
I successfully logged in through Platform One, but I see a screen in Learn to Win which says something like "You do not have access to this resource because you have not been added to Learn to Win"
The most likely reason you are seeing this screen is that there is a mismatch between the email you used to create your Platform One account and the email that exists for you in Learn to Win (for example, if you used your personal email instead of your military or government email). If you registered your Platform One account with the incorrect email, then login to login.dso.mil to change your email.
Another reason for seeing this screen is that your email has not yet been loaded into Learn to Win by one of your organization's admins. If you are not sure, reach out to your organization's admins and confirm that you have been loaded.
I've gained access to Learn to Win before, but when I try to login now, I receive a red error message that says "Something went wrong!" and then I'm redirected to a screen that says "This site can't be reached"
This error occurs when your browser session has expired but doesn't recognize a need to re-authenticate. There are three recommendations:
1. Clear your cache / cookies. Instructions for doing so in Chrome are linked here
2. Open the login page in a private browsing window.
3. As soon as you see the red error message, click the "X" icon to the left of the URL input box. Then, click the refresh button.
